8 AM: Are you wide awake or still in deep sleep?

My Maltese dog probably already woke me up because he wants to go outside. I prefer to sleep a bit longer.

11 AM: It’s time for the first meeting of the day. Today it’s a job interview with a potential new team member. What do you look for in a team member?

I am always looking for someone with an extra twist. That can be a crazy character treat, an extremely high self-motivation or an exciting talent. A CV doesn’t say everything about a person. I’m always interested in the background stories behind the experience, and like to be convinced based on those factors.

1 PM: You are hungry. What do you do now? Do you check the latest analytics with your business partner? Do you grab a cereal bar and go for a run? Are you a couch potato or fresh air fanatic?

I like to meet new people on blind lunch dates or talk to my team while we have something nice to eat. And of course, I take my dog Filou for a walk.

6 PM: Is it time to stop working, or are you just getting started?

Most of the time, I work a lot and quite long, but I still maintain a work-life balance. After work, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family or a self-cooked meal with my boyfriend. You can also meet me at all kind of networking events. I like to keep myself busy, and sitting still is not one of my strengths.

10 PM: Time to have a break, time to read, to listen and to think. What book/podcast/series/music are you recommending?

I’m a big fan of “Gemischtes Hack”. Sometimes I have to relax, and with Felix and Tommi I always have a good laugh. “ZEITVerbrechen” is also extremely thrilling. I can never stop listening to it once I started. When it comes to books, I enjoy a good thriller, e.g. the Simon Beckett books about the forensic anthropologist David Hunter. Extremely addictive.
